At Elm Veterinary Group we are committed to promoting sustainability and reducing our environmental impact. Our sustainability policy outlines the steps we take to ensure that our operations are environmentally responsible and contribute to a healthier planet.

1. Recycling Initiatives: We have recycling stations for the below.

• Batteries: We recycle used batteries to prevent harmful chemicals from entering the environment.
• Printing Ink: We recycle used printer cartridges to reduce waste and support the reuse of materials.
• Cardboard/plastics/metals/medications

2. Energy Conservation

• Computers: All computers are set to power-saving mode when not in use and are shut down at the end of each day.
• Energy efficient lighting: we turn off unused rooms & have led energy lighting.
• Smart controlled water, heating and gas.

3. Deliveries

• We order less frequently and so our deliveries are not causing unnecessary emissions.

4. Wildlife Conservation

• Garden Area: We maintain a garden area that is left untouched to provide a natural habitat for local wildlife, supporting biodiversity and wildlife such as foxes, birds and insects.
